Royal Make-over De Plaats

De Plaats, one of Holland's oldest squares and located in the historical city center of The Hague, is getting a make-over. Including a new lighting scheme, new pavement and even a drinking fountain, giving this 14th century square the allure it deserves. The construction work will be executed in multiple phases and shops, restaurants and bars will remain open and accessible. The terraces will get a full upgrade at a later stage, to ensure a full summer of pure enjoyment and relaxation at one of the bars at De Plaats! If you're visiting by bicycle we've got even better news: You can park it for free at the guarded bicycle space Biesieklette (www.biesieklette.nl)
